QUTopia event a BLAST!
Well today was the big day! When the QUT students of course AMB240 participated in what is known as "A real-world marketing simulation". Students made groups and established a business which they are to display in the QUTopia market. Their job relied on applying sales techniques to potentially lure in customers (other participants + families and kids) to buy their goods and services. In the end, I think everyone will be evaluated on their performance in the task. Well, that is my take on what was happening, and I'm pretty sure thats how it goes. I on the other hand was also part of a group, teamed up with an enthusiastic ensemble ranging from another photographer, film crew, sound techs, video editors and interviewers. We were the super group sought out to cover the amazing energy that was eminating from each stall in our own forms of media. So as I mentioned on my previous post, my duty was to be the photographer for the event. I entered the building not knowing what to expect but I came prepared for anything. I took photos ranging from general wide shots of the area, which look crazy mad busy as there is so much going on to group shots of all the stalls. Hopefully all were covered, luckily there was another photographer to ensure we were able to get all aspects of the event. Overall, I think we all went pretty great! So below are a few photos from the event, or you can check out my Flickr photostream to see all the coverege (untouched). I took a lot of photos of the actual products too as I found those quite interesting and I would think the students would appreciate their hard work being seen. So great job to all the participants and I thank the QUTopia event coverage crew for the teamwork and support. Till next saturday hey ;)

Giddy, photos look really amazing! I would be very proud if I was you :) You have done really good job. I wonder what other photos from other photographer look like :)
