The two men I had met are Filip Pilioras whom owns and created Paladar Fumior Salon and his brother Mitch Pilioras. A lot of effort is clearly visible for the creation of the shop which also holds significant history on the ground and blocks it stands on. Beautiful places like this in the heart of Brisbane should be appreciated, thus I have decided to write this piece. Filip and Mitch not only allowed me to take photos of the shop but also of them and I must say what a pair of photogenic beings, once they pulled out the cigars it was showtime! Not only did I appreciate the photos they had let me take, but also I extremely appreciate the hospitality that these two men had shown me, they welcomed me into this great place. In its entirety Paladar Fumior Salon is an espresso and cigar bar, when Im in the area I am sure to drop in for an amazing coffee. Since I do not smoke, probably not the cigars but if you do appreciate a good cigar and coffee then this place will have the best of both worlds so do drop by. It is on the corner of Fish Lane & Merivale Street, South Brisbane.
Below are a few photos that I have asked Filip if I could publish. It also demonstrates my new found appreciation for black and white photography. Enjoy!
A message to Filip: Thanks so much for your help and encouragement for me and my photographic career. All the best to you too.
