Zombieland! For a cause!

So it has now passed Halloween and it has been ages since I have posted. Sorry about that peoples. Been busy with assignments. So, recently there was a Zombie Walk in Brisbane. It happens annually and its for a great cause. Donations were made to the Brain Foundation of Australia. Typical, zombies love their brains! So the event consists of a mass of participants, donated or not, who dress up as zombies and roam around the city to a specified meeting spot to hang out and cause a fun and safe stir around the city. Scaring passers and just going that little bit crazy. It is a fun and exciting atmoshpere with many other photographers out there trying to grab a unique shot of the surroundings. The walk was also sanctioned by police as to ensure the safety of drivers on the road, as well as the crazy hundreds of brain hungry inhabitants. It was a really great experience to have a walk with this group of like minded people and I would say I am quite keen to participate again next year. It was also fun working with natural light again. I have been stuck in the studio for quite some time because of assignments like product shots, so this was a nice change to get some fresh air, have a run around and get that little more creative. If you would like to find out more about the cause so that you can participate next year or even make a donation then click on the link below:

  2. Hi Bianca, sorry for the late reply. I had no idea people actually read my blog. Anyways, I used the canon 50mm 1.8 which is a very affordable lens and will help you to move around and get creative with your composition and angles. Its the best focal length for me and I would think its very popular with a lot of people too ;) All the best!
